I waited until I returned home from NYC and went to the local Apple store at North Park to get my phone fixed. They gave me a brand new one. Which I had to re-activate and restore from backup. I had some problems with the activation, but after trying over and over it finally worked. Then my data plan was not turned on and my voicemail password needed to be reset. I called ATT and they fixed it pretty quickly (surprisingly good customer service experience).
